Our online courses are interactive, teacher-led workshops held once a week over Zoom, with each session lasting 1 hour. Scheduled every week on a convenient weekday from 6-7 pm Central Time. During each session, the teacher will guide students through exciting activities, fostering both creativity and learning!

Weekly Breakdown

Week 1 - Pixel Art Foundations

Students learn the basics of pixel drawing, how sprites work in games, and how to build simple shapes and characters. They create their first mini-sprite and explore color, contrast, and clarity at small sizes.

Day 1 activity

Week 2 - Designing the Hero

Students sketch and design their main character. They explore proportions, silhouettes, and details that show personality. By the end of this session, each student has a completed static character sprite.

Day 2 activity

Week 3 - Animating in Motion

Students learn how to animate an idle animation using frame-by-frame techniques. They practice timing and smooth transitions using onion-skin tools.

Day 3 activity

Week 4 - Final Animation & Showcase

Students finish their animation, refine their character, and export their completed sprites. The course concludes with a mini-showcase where students share their creations and celebrate their pixel-powered achievements.
