Roblox Story Designers
This course will dive into the world of storytelling through video games! Using Roblox Studio, students will design and build their own playable story experience where players explore a world, follow a character journey, and interact with a game environment.

Students will learn how video games can be used to tell stories through setting, character, conflict, choices, and world design. Instead of only writing a story on paper, students will bring their ideas to life by building a playable Roblox experience. Creators will design an original story world, plan a beginning, middle, and ending, and build key locations that help tell their story.

Weekly Breakdown
Week 1 - Story Worlds
Students will be introduced to Roblox Studio and explore how video games can tell stories. They will brainstorm their story idea, including the main character, setting, conflict, and goal. Then they will begin building the opening area of their Roblox story world, focusing on where the player starts and what they need to understand right away.

Week 2 - Building the Journey
Students will expand their Roblox experience by building the middle section of their story. They will create paths, scenes, obstacles, or choices that move the player through the adventure. Students will focus on making sure the player knows where to go, what is happening, and why their journey matters.

Week 3 - Characters, Clues & Interactive Moments
Students will add more story details to their games through signs, dialogue, objects, clues, or simple interactive elements. They may create a mystery to solve, a mission to complete, a world to escape, or a character to help. Students will also playtest their games to make sure the story is clear and the experience feels fun.

Week 4 - Final Scene & Story Showcase
For the grand finale, students will finish the ending of their Roblox story experience and polish their world. They will test for confusing paths, unfinished scenes, or missing story details. The course will end with a Roblox Story Showcase where students play each other's games, share the stories behind their worlds, and celebrate their finished interactive adventures.
