Hollywood Script Writers
Hollywood script writers will teach campers how to properly format and write screenplays for filmmaking. Although there will be creative brainstorming and freedom, the goal is to teach campers how to properly translate stories, characters, and scene direction to a working screenplay.
Exclusive 
Campers will review film script terminology and follow a screenplay writing template to fill in a story of their choosing. The instructor will guide them with various on-screen examples, and they will learn proper screenplay writing techniques to provide them with a clearer path to film their future movies.

Our online courses are interactive, teacher-led workshops held once a week over Zoom, with each session lasting 1 hour. These workshops will run from the week of February 17th to the week of March 31st, scheduled every week on a convenient weekday from 5-6 pm Central Time. During each session, the teacher will guide students through exciting activities, fostering both creativity and learning!

Students choose their story and begin writing their script using proper screenplay format and terminology.
Week 2 - Diving Deeper & Character Development
Students dive deeper into their scripts, rewriting if needed, and participate in acting exercises to bring their characters to life.
Week 3 - Finalizing Scripts & Table Reads
Students finalize their short scripts and begin table reads, filming their own scripts as short films.
Week 4 - Completed Scripts & Final Performances
Students complete all table reads and leave class with a completed script and a video of their script acted out by the class.
