In Cartoon Animators online camp, campers will be exploring creativity with Cartoon Animation at home! Campers will be designing characters, learning hand-drawn animation skills, and sharing creations with others!
Each day campers share animations they created, learn a new animation task, then apply skills in new animations each week!

Our online courses are interactive, teacher-led workshops held once a week over Zoom, with each session lasting 1 hour. These workshops will run from the week of January 20th to the week of March 3rd, scheduled every week on a convenient weekday from 6-7 pm Central Time. During each session, the teacher will guide students through exciting activities, fostering both creativity and learning!

Weekly Breakdown
Week 1 & 2 - Introductions and Animation Fundamentals
Learn the fundamentals of stop-motion animation! Through simple movements and motions, creators learn the basics of how to bring their stories to life!
Week 3 & 4 - Rotoscoping and Storyboarding
To learn the continuous flow of animation, creators will learn about the process of Rotoscoping, where creators trace live-action to make fluid and realistic animation. The next session covers storyboarding, where they will learn about the storytelling aspects of animation!
Week 5 & 6 - Character Design and Celebration
In the penultimate session, creators will dive into original character designs, bringing their characters to life! In the final session, all students will come together to celebrate and share what they have learned and what creations they have made over the course of camp!
