Campers will review film script terminology and follow a screenplay writing template to fill in a story of their choosing. The instructor will guide them with various on-screen examples, and they will learn proper screenplay writing techniques to provide them with a clearer path to film their future movies.
A compatible iPad is required for this program. A rental option will be available upon enrollment.

Students choose their story and begin writing their script using proper screenplay format and terminology.
Day 2 - Diving Deeper & Character Development
Students dive deeper into their scripts, rewriting if needed, and participate in acting exercises to bring their characters to life.
Day 3 - Finalizing Scripts & Table Reads
Students finalize their short scripts and begin table reads, filming their own scripts as short films.
Day 4 - Completed Scripts & Final Performances
Students complete all table reads and leave class with a completed script and a video of their script acted out by the class.
