Cosmic Creators teaches kids how to manipulate and design 3D objects with a variety of Blender modeling tools. They will start from the basics of adding and moving an object, then jump into the more complex side of modeling that involves editing the geometry. A live instructor will be there to guide them step-by-step, helping them bring their intergalactic ideas to life. Perfect for anyone with an interest in 3D printing, game design, animation, or even just a passion for all things outer space!
A compatible iPad is required for this program. A rental option will be available upon enrollment.

Camp Breakdown
Day 1 - Alien Makers
Our young adventurers will take their first galactic voyage through the Blender user interface, all while creating their very own Alien friend with the basic Object mode Move, Rotate, and Scale operations!
Day 2 - Space Ship Studio
In week two, they will uncover new skills in the Blender Edit mode that will let them understand and edit the faces, edges, and vertices of a shape in order to build a classic spaceship!
Day 3 - Asteroid Artists
In week three, they will learn how to use the sculpting mode to create the rocky terrain of an interstellar asteroid!
Day 4 - Space Scene Spectacular
In our final voyage (week four), adventurers will learn the basics of materials, lighting, and camera placement to arrange an out of this world scene that uses all of the models they have made so far!
